Programs

This page briefly defines the program offerings of the North Olmsted Sportsman’s Club (NOSC).  More detailed information is available by clicking on the orange button to the left of the program that interests you.

Although not a formal program, NOSC does offer open range times in our 10-point, 50-foot indoor range.  Open Range Times are listed on the Calendar as 21′ Open Range, 50′ Open Range, Bullseye Practice and Open Shoots.

NOSC is committed to supporting shooting opportunities for interested juniors.  Programs include rifle and pistol instruction using air guns and .22 caliber firearms.  Programs are open to youths at no cost.  All equipment, ammunition and targets are provided.

The Archery program operates outdoors sharing the field with the Trap program (but not at the same time).  In inclement weather, the range moves indoors, using the firearms range.

The Handgun or Pistol program includes Air Pistol, Revolver, Precision, and Defensive (IDPA) offerings, as well as scheduled open range times for informal practice for the above and concealed carry firearms.

Rifle programs are offered for adults as well as junior shooters.  Limited to .22 Long Rifle cartridges indoors, the programs also provide for high power shooting at another club’s range.

NOSC has a very active Trap program, operating on  alternating Sundays.
